This year, the meeting will be chaired by Ms Neeru Vallabh (Consultant Ophthalmologist, Liverpool University Hospital Foundation Trust and Senior Clinical Lecturer, University of Liverpool). Hosted at The Spine building, Royal College of Physicians, in the beautiful city of Liverpool. The meeting will be held in person and we hope you can join us in Liverpool!

The day will include thought provoking sessions on clinical and molecular eye genetics, genetic case discussions, short talks and posters by early careers researchers, and talks by people affected by inherited eye disease. Confirmed speakers at present include Dr Meenakshi Choudhary, Professor Sarah Coupland, Ms Georgina Hall, Mr Jay Self as well as Dr Kevin Hamill.

To submit abstracts for a poster and/or a short talk in the Early Career Researcher or clinical genetic cases sessions, please use the form below to submit your abstract. All abstracts for oral and poster presentations will be subject to peer review before acceptance. Submissions will close on 8th May 2024 and successful submissions will be notified by 10th May 2024. Prizes will be awarded at the end of the conference for the best oral and poster presentations. Please note that abstracts will be published in a BMJ Open Ophthalmology abstracts booklet.

Early Bird Discounted Registration is available until 17th May 2024 and full price tickets will be available until the day of the conference. UK-EGG members are entitled to £25 discount.
